In the system, default student's attendance percentage set at 100%.




System will automatically calculate student's attendance based in total credit hour of the subject created. The percentage will be calculated based on lecturer's record.



Lecturer will key in following fields to record student's attendance:

1. Choose Date

2. Choose Start Time

3. Tick Attendance Box (If student is absent, lecturer doesn't have to tick the box)

4. Choose Submit



Once lecturer submit the attendance, the percentage shown as 97%.





The attendance calculated as below.



Total Contact Hour : 36

Day Absent : 1 (Credit Hour) x 1 Day = 1 Contact Hour (Absent)


Contact Hour Recorded : 1

Total Contact Hour : 36


Calculation


1/36 x 100% = 2.778%

100% - 2.778% = 97%


System will automatically deduct 2.778% from 100%. Therefore, student's attendance shown as 97%.
