Below are the subject status indicators and the definition.
Status | Definition |
Taking | Currently taking the course/subject in the record. No grade is given yet. |
Pass | Successfully complete an examination or course/subject. Grade will be given. |
Completed | Successfully complete an examination or course/subject. Grade will be given. |
Refer | Failed. This status signifies that the student must repeat the course/subject to receive credit. |
Fail | Failed. This status signifies that the student must repeat the course/subject to receive credit. |
Referred | Repeat the fail course/subject. Course/Subject with refer status will change to referred upon student repeat the course/subject. |
Exempted | Course/subject exempted and need to replace the credit with other course. |
Credit Transfer | Granting credit to a student for courses/subjects undertaken within the institute or another institution. |
Incomplete | Unsatisfactory work, a minor part of the course/subject requirements has not been met and the student has a passing grade on the work that has been completed. Grade equal to 'F'. Student must repeat or redo the course/subject to receive credit. |
Barred | Barred from final exam. Grade equal to 'F'. Student must repeat or redo the course/subject to receive credit. |
