1. 0 Supplementary Overview


Supplementary is an exam taken by the student for one or more subject. Some of the institution allow student to take supplementary on the basis of subject grade or failing subject only. Both version (first attempt and supplementary attempt) of result need to be archived for two purpose which is


    • History Track
    • To endorse Supplementary Result Slip

    2. 0 Supplementary Feature Highlight


    • Feature to provide the supplementary marks key in.

    • Calculation will refer the supplementary grading scheme applies to the subject.

    • Feature will preserve the old result version

    • Provide the supplementary result slip to be endorse

    3.0 Supplementary Grading Group


    Supplementary Grading Group is use to refer on which grade will applied to the subject. It is used as a grading scheme for the Supplementary. For example if the student achieved marks of 55, (over the supplementary flag) the student will be graded as C only. Kindly refer to the screenshot as below. 


     


    To set up the Supplementary Grading, Kindly navigate to Exam > Manage Grading Group > Manage Grade > Edit (on the grade) and set the Supplementary Flag as : Yes


    4.0 Creating Supplementary Section


    Navigate to Academic > Manage Subject Supplementary to create the section. Filter the


    • Academic Session

    • Faculty

    • Subject

    Click Add New Section to create the Supplementary Section

     

    Fill up the Section Name, Student Quota and Lecturer Name as required.


    Click Save to proceed.


    5.0 Allocate Student Into Supplementary Section


    Select Manage Student in dropdown list and click Go button


    User may use Faculty, Program, Academic Session and Semester filter criteria for slotting student into supplementary section


    6.0 Supplementary Mark Entry


    Navigate to Academic > Supplementary Mark to proceed with mark entry process. Select Mark Entry


    To proceed with Supplementary Mark Entry, click Submit


    User may start enter the marks for the supplementary exam by section. User only need to enter the total marks and system will auto calculate the Grade, Grade Point and
    Status


    Click the Save button to proceed


    7.0 Supplementary Mark Submit


    Navigate to Mark Submit
    in order to proceed with final mark submission. User will submit marks by section.


    Click the Submit button to proceed submit the marks


    8.0 Updated Result


    User may see the updated result under the Academic Status tab. The supplementary result will be tagged as (s) as identifier.


    9.0 Supplementary Result Slip


    The supplementary features is also equipped with the Supplementary Result Slip. The Supplementary Result Slip will show the marks record as for the earlier attempt and updated result.


    Kindly navigate to Exam > Report > Supplementary Result Slip to generate.
